We will ensure that health and safety is at the forefront of general work activities, communicated successfully to the team, achieving successful solutions through open and frank discussion with determined communication, co-operation and co-ordination throughout all phases of a project from inception to completion. The Construction Safety Manager, with the assistance of our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Team, will support staff with information on Health, Safety, Welfare and Environment.

Health, Safety, Welfare and Environment will form an integral part of the project ensuring that all employees and contractors are aware of the safety, health, welfare and environmental requirements, and specific safety training and information will be provided to prepare persons on particular jobs or safe systems of work when necessary.

We will implement a robust Safety, Health, Welfare and Environmental Plan when undertaking the Construction Management of the Project that will be supported by a comprehensive package of safety procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work, plans etc. These will be developed to meet any local issues, specific tasks, activities, environmental restrictions, hazardous operations, hazardous substances etc.

Full liaison with the Client, Sub-Contractors and other interested parties will be undertaken to ensure that we obtain the relevant information required to remove/mitigate the risks identified. We will provide assistance with task and location-specific risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work, plans etc. prior to undertaking activities on site, always taking the Principles of Prevention into consideration.
